Friday: Date night dinner at Frenchy's. Grouper, scallops, and shrimp platter with Bud Light Wheat. I am not sure if this counts as part of my diet (I did get everything grilled through). Enjoyed a drink at the Dunedin House of Beer.
Saturday: Woke up really, really late--like 2 p.m. Sleep was definitely needed after that busy first week of the semester. Got motivated and went to a group fitness class for this "contest" that I am (we were given pre-tests that involved running a 1/4 mile, flexibility, push ups, sit ups, etc.). Got all dressed up only to find out that there was a torrential DOWNPOUR. Drove to Bahama Breeze while my passengers were scared for their life. Ended up at The Venue for a Baby Anne show. Too packed to move, but found a cozy spot by the bar. Passed out late.
Sunday: Was up by 8 a.m. for no good reason other than to play with the puppy and upload photos. Ate a delicious breakfast at Angie's in Downtown Clearwater. Again, another meal that was probably not diet friendly. Walked Pier 60 (the first time I actually went all the way down to the end). Headed to Downtown Dunedin where we started with a beer at Dunedin House of Beer. Walked down to the marina and sat at the pier here. Explored shops on the Main Street in town and I ended up with green apple riesling from a local winery (I didn't even know we HAD one!). Mojitos at Casa Tina, more beers at DHOB, and extreme nap time followed.
It was a beautiful weekend with beautiful people.
