What a weekend it has been. I'm all comfy in my pajamas getting caught up on Facebook, reading the paper and going through some magazines. It's an ideal Sunday night. :) Well, it would be even more ideal if the boy was not working...but such is life. Anyway, this week's Getting to Know You Questions were kind of scandalous. I like!
1. If you could star in any movie genre..what would it be..romance..horror..comedy..suspense or action? As long as Vince Vaughn is in it, I'm good.
2. Do you recycle? Yes. We have 1 recycling bin for our city, but it doesn't accept glass. Isn't that weird?!
3. Have you ever been to a strip club? ::blushes:: I had been reading some other answers and the overwhelming consensus was *no!* Well, I live in Tampa. Did you know that Tampa is the lap dance capital of the world? We have an entire strip of seedy adult establishments, so it's kind of just required to check it out every once in a while. Besides, where else can you party til 5 a.m.? Ok, well the casino, but still. Anyway, my answer is yes--a few times. It's always for a birthday or some sort of special event. These places are pricey! I'm not going to fawn all over women--it's just an experience that every young adult around here seems to participate in. I've never seen a male stripper--and I definitely wouldn't want to!
4. Do you have a nickname? Not that I know of.
5. What's a name you can't stand to be called? I cringe a little when my last name gets mispronounced. I'm used to it, but there's only so many times you can correct someone!
6. What are your Summer staples? Sundresses, sparkly sandals, sparkly lotion, sunglasses, hot pink nail polish, and a tan!
7. What was the last thing you bought for yourself? I just went to Target and stocked up on freezer foods, nail polish and sparkly green eyeliner. I'm not sure about the eyeliner. It's an experiment.
8. Are you happy with your boob size? Absolutely.

So this weekend felt unusually long. Friday after work I met up with old friends for happy hour. We ate ridiculously cheap food and caught up with one another. I ordered these amazing chips--they were chips covered in balsamic vinegar and gorgonzola cheese. These are not diet approved, but they were really, really good. It was definitely the type of treat I needed after a long work week.
On Saturday I went to a wedding. It was beautiful! I managed to get the boy all spiffied up and we had an amazing view.
We Cupid Shuffled and Cha Cha Slided into the late night. I felt so sick on the way home. I shouldn't have to say why. I mean, there *was* an open bar. Yikes!
I mentioned my lovely spring swapping the other day. I received one of my packages! This is SO sweet of her. I got a fluffy beach towel (it reminds me of my favorite Vera Bradley print), Lilly Pulitzer animal crackers, and bath stuff from Soap & Glory! I'm pretty excited about the sparkly spray lotion. I love glitter and I'm not ashamed to admit it.

I managed to have a somewhat productive day--all things considered. My Target trip was full of deals. I saved $15 with coupons. I was tempted to buy this hat, but I chickened out. My boy wears a straw fedora pretty often, and I didn't want to become his twin! Either way, he has given me his blessing. Have you seen Target's new hat line by Eugenia Kim?
Here's to a good week !
