Anyways, last week was jam-packed with long, sunny days and wonderful nights. I went to my second (and last of the season) spring training game at the Phillies stadium. I may not have paid too much attention to the game, but the weather was perfect.
I had a tasty grouper sandwich on the beach at our favorite beach restaurant, and I was asleep before the sun set. No, really, I am old.Friday night was an interesting mix of new people at familiar hangouts. I attended a Beer Group Meetup to support my mom and friends. It was certainly an interesting crowd, but I did enjoy myself. After the meeting, we went to our favorite local beer bar where I finished my "rail card" with a friend. Basically you get a stamp for every beer you drink out of 40. Once you drink 40, you get a snazzy shirt with your name on it. This was my second completed rail card. Oy.
It is a good tool to get people to come back and buy, buy, buy! I also have had the chance to sample drinks I never would have imagined drinking...!I was extra excited about Saturday. A local dog rescue was holding a doggie wash at a local brewery. You bring your dogs for a wash and get a beer. It's pretty amazing. The dogs were well behaved (shocking) and are now all pretty & clean.
The rest of the day was spent relaxing waterside with a good drink and good friends.

Easter was spent recovering and eating. The boy made a ham and some tasty sides and we headed out to watch the Red Sox/Yankees game. We then watched Fever Pitch -- his idea, not mine! Obviously, we are *ready* for baseball to begin! How did you spend your weekend and is anyone out there a Rays fan? Anyone? Echo...echo...
