Frantic Friday; Fill in the Blanks; Favorites; 5QF

I'm pretty frantic today. I'm not going to lie. I was all signed up for summer classes -- everything seemed *good to go.* After changing my program, I am trying to finish my new master's as quickly as possible (maybe next spring). Yet, one of my classes is ridiculous and just not right for me to take right now (expensive textbook, coming in to campus on a SATURDAY to take tests -- hello, it's summer, no thanks). I changed to this program so that I could take all my classes online and work full time at the university. Yet, it's not as easy as it sounds. Some classes need you on campus to take tests at inconvenient times (I'm at campus five days a week for forty hours, I'm not coming *back* up here on my *day off* to take a test). Other classes won't let you take the online version if you don't meet certain pre-reqs--but you can take it in person. What a mess. Add that on to my ever-growing student loan debt and I had myself quite a panic this morning. I think things will be okay, it won't "set me back" any more, I just wanted to get some of these classes out of the way. Oh well... moving on...

1. The very best thing about the summer is (obviously) the beach. I love spending afternoons listening to live music on the beach, bar hopping down the coast, tanning, rum runners, and of course vacationing.

2. My first crush ever was some chubbster from kindergarten.

4. I squeeze my toothpaste from the bottom.

5. My absolute favorite "comfort food" is anything Mexican--nachos, tacos, salsa...

6. A random fact about me is that I panic about things out of my control.

7. The one piece of technology that truly makes my life better and I couldn't live without is my iPhone. It's nifty. I call, email, browse Blogger. Me likey.


1. Take your pick...date night, girls night out, or night out alone? Date night. My boy works weird hours so when we have a night off together I definitely try to take advantage!

2. Can you touch your nose with your tongue? No sir.

3. What is your favorite flower and why? Gerber daisies, tulips, anything *bright*

4. If you could go back in time, what advice would you give yourself? Maybe to never start a Master's in something that I would grow to hate...but everything happens for a reason. I met my boy while there.

5. If you won the lottery, what is the very first thing you would do? Buy a house & pay off my car! Bora Bora vacation next.

Oh, John Legend, I adore you.......and not in an "I think you're attractive way" because he's really short. Total turn-off! But, his first album was the soundtrack of about six months of my life way back in the day. Here are two of my favorite songs of his. Total cheesy romantic bliss. He also sings songs about cheating and breaking up. Those aren't my favorite topics, but he sings them beautifully. ;)
