Hana Professional Flat Iron Review & Giveaway! *closed*

My hair is a bit of a challenge. It's not curly and it's not straight. It sort of just has one giant wave around my head. I definitely have to straighten my hair everyday if I want to look any sort of presentable. I had my old ceramic Solia straightener for *years* (I'm talking since college!), and it was time to upgrade. Luckily, Misikko generously sent me a Hana Professional Flat Iron in pink this past week to review and to give away!
Just opening the box and I was pleased with the presentation. Not only is there a straightener under all those goodies, but there was silk roses, an Iron Mat and Storage Pouch, Hana ShineShield Thermal Protectant and some nail files. I live in Florida, so I really put this iron to the test. Humidity + crazy hair = one hot mess.

Here is my before. This is after shampooing, conditioning and blow drying. It's just a massive nest of hair.
Yay! It's shiny and pretttty. Okay, I might have missed a spot, but you get the idea! The first thing I noticed about this straightener was that it was light in comparison to the ones I've used. It's not clunky or anything. Since it was a 1", I felt that I was moving through my faster than my old irons (that were 2") because I didn't have "re-do" a section. I was able to do my entire head pretty quickly. I will have to say that this is the best flat iron.

It has adjustable heat (140-450 degrees) and is 100% ceramic. It is safe for damp to dry styling and has a two year warranty. The cord is also 8 feet long so you can style wherever is most convenient for you!
