New Wheels + About Me in Three

I'm *exhausted.* I took today off work to get my car situation figured out, and I still need more time. Why are the weekends not long enough? Today's Real Simple quote really got to me:
There’s never enough time to do all the nothing you want.” ―Bill Watterson, "Calvin and Hobbes"
Ain't that the truth. So, here's a survey that I've been putting off for a few weeks followed by what you're most interested in--what car I got.

Three names I go by:
1. Krystal
2. Spicy
3. Seuss

Three jobs I have had:
1. Movie theater popcorn goddess
2. Radio station promo girl / on air
3. University administration

Three places I have lived:
1. Tampa, FL
2. Orlando, FL
3. Clearwater, FL

Three favorite drinks:
1. Coke Zero from a fountain
2. A good orange-y wheat beer (Blue Moon, Shock Top, etc.)
3. Bacardi Dragonfruit mixed with...well..anything!

Three TV shows I watch:
1. Glee
2. Modern Family
3. Desperate Housewives

Three places I have been:
1. Boston
2. New York City
3. The Bahamas

1. Belize
2. Italy
3.California

Three favorite old TV shows:
1. 90210
2. Saved by the Bell
3. The OC (is this considered old now?)

Three favorite dishes:
1. Anything Mexican
2. Chicken and veggies
3. Shrimp

Three makeup products I cannot live without:
1. Clinique powder
2. A good eyeliner
3. Nail polish. I must have my nails done at all times.

Three things I'm looking forward to:
1. Summer vacations
2. Finishing my Master's...one day
3. The future

So...the car. Right. Anyway, I didn't really know what I wanted. I had never really "picked" out a car before. Everything had been just picked out for me or I didn't have much of a choice. This time around I knew I wanted an SUV, but realistically it just wasn't happening. I have a crazy long commute and I need good gas mileage. I also needed a "cheaper" car. The SUVs I were looking at weren't exactly in my price range. I do like the boxy type cars and the hatchbacks. I wanted to be able to throw the dogs in the back and GO! I had never even seen this type of car before on the road (and if I had, I surely didn't pay much attention to it), but after driving it I really liked it!
It's a Dodge Caliber and has very low miles and it's pretty clean. I've been calling it a station wagon and joking that I'm one step away from a minivan, but whatever. I think it's a fun little car. There's even a cooler in the glove box. That really sold me. :)

With all this depressing oil spill talk, I started to remember the first time that I had really heard about oil spills and bad-drilling-bad! Remember that episode of Saved by the Bell where Zack's favorite duck died? Anyway, I could only find this edited clip (it's SBTB mixed with There Will Be Blood). That was just a random bar thought I had last night that I wanted to share.

No classes for me for two weeks--just work, work and work! Cinco de Drinko is Wednesday, but are you ever just *spent?* I'm soo tired from car shopping, baseball games, the sun....etc! Here's to an ever productive and amazingly awesome week everyone!
