My *Five*
1. I read an entire book...and it wasn't a comic book. I love to read, but I never manage to actually finish a book. It's sad. I purchased Chelsea Chelsea Bang Bang before it even came out (pre-order) and I just *now* finished. Oy. I did LOL at a few parts, but sad to say, I think her other books were better. Think she HAD to mention E! Entertainment Network in every chapter? There were some funny one liners though: "I know that Mike Tyson has a tattoo on his eye, and that's a pretty good indicator that all cylinders are not firing." I don't know why, but I really laughed at that.
2. My boy is off *all weekend.* This is a very rare thing. He works in media so his hours are usually completely opposite of mine. I have a crazy sleeping schedule where I'll wake up at 2 a.m. when he comes home to catch up and chat about our days. This weekend will be nice!
3. I have an ice luge freezing in the freezer. Shots all weekend.

4. The weather has been beautiful. A trip to Caladesi Island this weekend is in the works. Google told me that Caladesi Island was named the #1 Beach in America in 2008 by renowned "Dr. Beach" (Dr. Stephen Leatherman) who annually ranks U.S. beaches. I went there before for a brief trip and it was nice... but it wasn't the best beach I've ever seen. They don't even let you drink on the beach...hello.... totally lost points there. ;)
5. I'm starting a Saturday link up type deal about staying in. I have a few products to review and they are all things that are good ideas for staying in on Saturday night with good friends. :) Check it out in two days and maybe you'll play along. I know a lot of people don't visit Blogger regularly on the weekend--which is fine! My weekly meme will be for those true partiers who stay in on Saturday nights with a good board game and a tasty pitcher of sangria. Or an ice luge.

What Chelsea books do you recommend? I've been wanting to read one and see what the hype is about I didn't really get into her show either. That ice luge looks tasty!
I have all Chelseas books and loved all of them. I would read when I would take my mom to chemo, 8 hours in a hospital. She was great comic relief, I would LOL and have all the nurses looking at me.
That luge sounds like fun, and I've never been to Caladesi but no drinking is a major boo!
I think you just made up a new blog name. "Shoes, Booze and Sundresses" hahaha! I definitely need all three :)
