'I wish' .... I was fluent in another language in addition to English, and it would be Italian!
You could say that Italian is not as useful as other languages, well, because it's only spoken in *Italy!* However, I think that's where the charm is. I took German in high school for three years and I did adore it. I have a problem rolling my r's making Spanish a nightmare. German is similar to English in pronunciation so it was a breeze. But, it wasn't romantic. It wasn't cute sounding. It had harsh tones and you could be saying the happiest things and come across with an angry tone! ;) Or, maybe that was just me...
...Anyways, Italian just seems like a great language to learn for fun. Wouldn't it be nice to learn a little bit then maybe go on a Honeymoon to Rome? Doesn't that just sound divine? Not that I'm plotting anything....

Italian always sounds so romantic!
I want to speak Italian, and then fly to Tuscany and order delicious food from a beautiful waiter and drink lots of sweet wine and never come back.
I can just hear my EXTREME Texas accent butchering some Italian...but I'd still love to learn!
Italian is so romantic. Great choise! By the way, your dog Kamikaze is sooooo adorable!
I would love to be fluent in Italian. Such a beautiful language! Since you're in the Tampa area, I hope you'll join us for our Sex and the City event! Details are on your FB page under "Events!"
Italian sounds so pretty and romantic. And I like how you think, sounds like the perfect language to learn before a trip...
:)
I love the way Italian sounds! I always pretend I can speak it when I sing Andre Boccelli's Con Te Partiro. Obviously I can't, but I can copy the words..does that count?
Italian does sound romantic! I took French in high school, but I barely learned anything. I can sing the alphabet though ;)
Italy would be such a great place to vacation!
I would love to learn Italian! Although, I took Spanish for 3 years in high school & don't remember anything besides the basic things so maybe I wouldn't be very good at it! ;-)
I lived in Rome, Italy for a year and learned to the Italian. You know what it's not only a nice language, it's also easy to learn. The Italians really appreciate when people speak Italian with them.
I am totally with you on this!!
