anic Tower Board Game Review

It's another Saturday and I'm *exhausted* already! My day so far: Woke up at 6 a.m. and loaded up on $2 tanks from Old Navy. Target at 8 a.m. Headed to my local farmer's market and stocked up on some yummy fruits and veggies. Went to a crazy estate sale. Got to mall and was excited for $10 Aeropostale sundresses. TJ Maxx was next for some cute beachy heels followed by Marshalls where I filled my cart with stationary and wall art.

So, basically, I'm done for the day and am definitely *staying in!* For those that didn't see this last week, every Saturday I'm going to have a feature of something that makes staying in on Saturday pretty awesome. Drinks, recipes, games and more. =) Here's a review of a pretty awesome game that I broke out last Saturday (and might break it out again tonight!).

Goliath Games: Panic Tower

I was lucky enough to try Panic Tower from Goliath Games.

It's very similar to Jenga except there are cards and a board... and you are just moving and adding pieces.

You start with some blocks on the board and you draw cards that will tell you what to do. Skip, add blocks to this square, move blocks under or on top of other squares. Eventually you will get crazy tall towers that are hilariously high. This game requires complete concentration. That was the highest tower of all of the games we played. I swear it is huge.

But, just remember, what goes up must come down.....

I really liked this game. I have brought it out a few times when I'm in the mood for some fierce competition after the bar. It's easy to play and explain and the pieces are easy to store. Some of the cards are a little confusing, but we figured them out quickly. The pieces are solid wood and durable. The premise of this game just keeps things fun and it can be very fast-paced (which is my kind of game! I get bored). I recommend this game for anyone--especially young adults. Jenga doesn't have to be the *only* board game people break out at parties. This one is a little more fun because there are more pieces to move and different ways to take your turn. = )

What are you doing on this lovely Saturday night? Staying in? If so, link up and tell us what you've got going on!

Hello - I've scooted on over here from swapbot as part of the recent blog swap.... you may noticed I've not commented on your recents posts and have gone for this instead...that is because I like games (and because all your lovely holiday pics were making me insanely jealous!). This game looks pretty interesting - but I've never been any good at jenga.

I'll be linking to all the blogs I've read as part of the swap in my next post on http://crafty-carrie.blogspot.com
