When I was 6 my dad bought me a poster for my room. I was so excited that he brought home a New Kids on the Block poster, but when I opened it I was less than thrilled.
Jonathan!? I liked JORDAN not his creepy older brother. He had said they only had Jonathan posters left at the store--no surprise there. So, I had to stare at Jonathan on my walls for a year or so.
My dreams came true in 1998 when I met Jordan at a mall CD signing. He was goofier in person than I would have expected. Though, perhaps he thought I was the weird one? I mean, I was 13. I was probably a scary sight. I still have his signed "Give It To You" CD floating around somewhere. That song is still the bomb. Yes, da bomb.
{I'm only half serious. Obviously Jordan wasn't my first real love, but why would I want to mention anyone on my blog that isn't a part of my life in that way anymore? I've moved on...to someone that I will truly love for a lifetime.}

Me too! Everyone loved Joey but he was so short he looked like a baby to me. I was a Jordan girl... same as when everyone was all "Dylan vs. Brandon" I was by myself thinkin' David Silver was the cutest! LOL :)
LOL, too funny. I always switched between Jordan and Joey. My sister and I shared a tiny little bedroom that was completely plastered with posters!

Oooooh NKOTB!! Jordan was totally my first crush too! Until I noticed his braide - than i was like SYKE! lol But ooOOH New kids!! I had their sheets!!
Love this! Is it sad that I do not even really know who the NKOTB are??? It was just a little before my time.
My partner and I really enjoyed reading this blog post, I was just itching to know do you trade featured posts? I am always trying to find someone to make trades with and merely thought I would ask.
