Hello Friday!

So good to see you! Since I'm quite excited about the weekend, I thought I would update you on everything I accomplished this week. I feel pretty good about it!

*See you later Bank of America! I finally paid off my stinkin' credit card. I hate them as a bank and credit institution. I feel sorry for you if you do business with them! I have since switched to a Credit Union and I love it so much more. It's very personal and everyone treats you like a human being... People who want to learn how to become better bankers may want to look at online business programs.

*My invitations are OUT! Officially, 100% mailed. This is a big weight off my shoulders, and I hope people can RSVP in a timely manner! I opted against online RSVPs since I had a bad response to a few other wedding events, so I hope good old fashioned pen & paper (with an included already stamped envelope!) will provide a better reaction. When everyone has received them, I'll show you what they look like! ;)
*Christmas shopping is *nearly* completed. I have been holding out on shopping for Scott just because he never knows what he wants. I know have a list of things that I'm on the hunt for and I can't wait to wrap everything!

I wanted to updated m 101 in 1001 List on my birthday, but I never got around to it. Here's some things that I have crossed off or are in progress!

20. Keep an updated address book with actual physical addresses -- Done! With the wedding invitations and Christmas cards, I have a pretty full address book.
27. Get married (though this one is totally out of my control!) -- In progress!
28. Find something to do with that dresser of mine that I refuse to part with {Going to move it to another room and swap it for something smaller} -- Done!
31. Keep an updated planner (either digitally or hard copy) -- Done! I have been a master at syncing my work and personal calendars to my iPhone and Outlook accounts.
32. Send out those ridiculously cheesy Christmas photo cards. Dogs may or may not be in holiday sweaters. -- DONE! Dogs were not in sweaters but they did have jingle bells around their neck and mini Santa hats. :D
51. Get a passport -- In progress. I have my application and all my documents ready to go. I'm making an appointment today!
58. Go cave tubing in Belize (I'm thinking a cruise perhaps) -- I wrote this goal with a particular cruise in mind... and I got my way since I booked that cruise for our Honeymoon! I'm definitely signing up for this excursion... no questions asked!

60. Go camping -- In progress. We are planning a Florida Keys camping trip this Summer!

75. Start wine tasting and find “my” wine -- Since we are having a beer/wine reception, we are thinking about wines. Katie sent me a fabulous wine list to get me started!
89. Have a well stocked bar in the house -- DONE! We purchased a vintage bar and have it full of wine, craft beers and various liquors.
90. Upgrade my laptop (who knows, maybe even forgo the entire computer thing and just get an iPad) -- Done! The boy bought me a netbook as a surprise a few months back!

Isn't it nice to get some of those To Dos crossed off?

Fun Fridays

This weekend, I'm anticipating a lot of "me" time as I scour those sales!

{Friday} Heading home through rush hour and getting myself presentable for dinner at The Tampa Bay Brewing Company before seeing Aries Spears at the Tampa Improv. The Brewing Company brews their own beer, and I can't wait to try their stuff! I love stand up comedy, but I just love a Friday night in Ybor City. It's the "party district" in our city and even though it's gone "ghetto," it's still my favorite place.
{Saturday} I'm heading with a new friend so she can try her wedding dress on! I feel honored that she asked me as it is a big deal. :) I'm sure I'll hit up Old Navy for their $1 scarf sale (Sure, we live in Florida, but there's no reason for me to *not* own a scarf... especially when they are $1!) and wander Target's holiday sales.
{Sunday} I'm going to wake up early, check out the sale ads, and plan my attack! I hope to wrap everyone's gifts and have them under the tree for the holidays.

What are you doing this weekend?

I'm so excited for Belize, TOO! Cave diving - here we come!!

We also hated our big-name bank (Wachovia) and closed our accounts a few years back. We LOVE our local credit union and USAA. Never looking back!

That's great that invitations are out! When we sent our's out my mom wanted to do RSVP by email or phone and I said no way. That would be too much! The old fashioned way is so much easier.

Your honeymoon sounds awesome!

Old Navy has a $1 scarf sale?? That's awesome!

You've been quite a busy bee! Me? I've been lounging in my pajamas today, being lazy :)

And, yes, BofA does suck! I went in once to apply for a mortgage. Almost an hour later, I gave up waiting and left.
