{one} I'm way too old to go out on Friday nights! I had a great time eating dinner and going to the Improv for a comedy show, but man, I'm glad I didn't have to drive. I snoozed the whole way home!
{two} I headed to a bridal shop in a nearby town to accompany a new friend as she tried on her wedding dress. It was beautiful! I also browsed the other dresses in the store. It made me feel more confident about the dress I already have. While I'm not 110% sure my dress is "the" dress, it is starting to feel more & more like it is. Since I can't find anything "better," I do believe my dress is "it."
{three} I seriously went to every store ever on Sunday. First off, let's just say that was a big mistake as every place I went to was BUSY and a complete madhouse. But, hey, I guess that's my punishment for waiting until the weekend before Christmas to finish my holiday shopping. Here's a quick run down on where I went:
- Old Navy - Everything was pretty much gone and totally picked through. Their "sales" that were advertised in the Sunday paper were already sold out!
- Sports Authority - Waste of time.
- CVS - Necessary!
- Target - Not as awesome as I had hoped.
- Ross - Always a good time. I saw Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre shot glasses being sold together in a party set. Probably the weirdest merchandise I have seen there in a while!
- Best Buy - Utter madhouse. Refuse to go back here... even if they had something I wanted at a better price!
- Marshalls - Ended up buying more for myself than anyone else... oops.
- TJ Maxx - Again, a lovely experience. My favorite place!
- The Mall - Awful. Chaos. Children. Crying. Help.
- Hallmark - I waited the longest here. I'm glad people still buy CARDS.
- {insert nap here}
- Walmart - Since my local Walmart changed over to a "super," it's not as bad.
- Liquor store - Requirement!
- And, one last stop at Target.
{four} Only two and a half more work days before I'm *free* until 2011.
{five} It is now officially TWO months until the big day. Why do I feel like I have way too many things to accomplish before then? Will I ever *not* have that feeling? Music, hotel rooms to figure out, rehearsal dinner details, getting the groomsmen dressed, finishing the bouquets, centerpieces... eep. I know how I'm spending my time off this month!

1. What will your Christmas dinner consist of? Food. Lots of food I'm sure. Since we aren't hosting Christmas this year, other people are taking care of the dinner. I believe my father roped me into cooking "brunch," so that will be interesting. I'm terrible at cooking breakfast for other people besides myself.
2. Do you watch commercials or flip through the channels? I usually DVR everything so I fast forward!
3. How long will you leave your Christmas decorations up? Until after the new year. I can imagine that our free time will be non-existent so it will be a random January weekend that they will come down on.
4. What movie makes you cry every time you watch it? The first movie that came to mind was Charlotte's Web, lol. I cry at a lot of movies... even ones that are happy!
5. Do you have a Facebook? Of course. Who doesn't?

I went shopping this weekend too! On Saturday I headed out w/my MIL & we made the mistake of going after noon, that was a dissaster. So on Sunday I headed out on my own & left the house at 8am...it was heaven! I finished all of my shopping by 11:30 & the best part is that Best Buy was basically deserted. So my advice, if you still have shopping to do def head to the stores before 8am if possible ;)
I didn't do any shopping this weekend, but I'm going out today and tomorrow. I have quite a few things to get, but not for gifts. I'm pretty much done there!
I just don't go out much anymore! I rarely drink, however, I do know how to have sober fun, but it's just not my scene anymore! Toooottttalllly feel ya on that one girl! :)
Your dress IS the dress! I had the SAME feelings about mine, but once it was altered to fit me correctly, it all went away and it was perfect :o)
I was at the mall too on Sunday, not too bad, but I pretty much knew what I needed.
And brunch is so easy!! I have a bunch of really easy egg casserole recipes and a french toast casserole that you make over night and bake 45 minutes before serving! Let me know if you need recipes :o) We also do bagels, fruit, and those little hash browns you get in the frozen section of the super market.
