Wild Wedding: The Ceremony {Part Four - Sand & A Kiss}

Our vows had been read, our new wedding rings were on... now it was time to carry on with the sand ceremony. Sure, this is a popular way to symbolize marriage in a beach wedding... but I wanted to add a little something to our ceremony. Otherwise, it would have been like 4 minutes.

We walked around the arch way and started pouring some sand.

I'm sure there was a reading going on now that talked about the symbolism of sand and the ocean...








I don't remember what was said. I just remember pouring.




All done! We walked in front of the arch and it was time for the KISS!

Our officiant pronounced us husband and wife and it was GO time.














Oh, hi, we are married now.


And we were OFF!


Though we weren't going very far...



We led our guests toward the water!

What You Missed:
The week before the wedding I got a tattoo! We also had our beach rehearsal before having dinner, handing out bridal party gifts, and a wild after party. The morning of the wedding, I got ready and my girls worked it for the camera. We had a first look and we were off to the ceremony. I shared some candid pictures and the first part of the ceremony. The ceremony continued and then we shared our vows.
