We booked a local barbecue company to grill some chicken and smoke some ribs. Also on the menu: salad, baked potatoes, and cole slaw. Can you say yum!? It was so, so, so good. Comfort food at its best.
Dinner was held in the inside room buffet style.

The chicken was my favorite

Now... where's my beer?!
I asked for a sweetheart table so that Scott & I could eat privately and hang out. It was glorious. I really recommend that!
Also, doing a BBQ buffet is *very* budget friendly and the food was so tasty. I know it's not everyone's "style," but I can't stop raving about how great it was.
Everyone seemed to be having a good time and before I knew it... it was time for the toasts!
What You Missed:
The week before the wedding I got a tattoo! We also had our beach rehearsal before having dinner, handing out bridal party gifts, and a wild after party. The morning of the wedding, I got ready and my girls worked it for the camera. We had a first look and we were off to the ceremony. I shared some candid pictures and the first part of the ceremony. The ceremony continued and then we shared our vows. We had a sand ceremony and our first kiss as husband and wife. We then threw seashells in the ocean and made a wish and took group pictures with our friends and family. We also took private shots of just my groom and I before hopping on the trolley. I shared all the details of our reception, and when we arrived, we mingled with our guests before eating dinner.

I'm learning so much about weddings it's insane! I'm not engaged (soon though, I'm thinking (hoping) :).
All this stuff is surely making me a bit nervous though... there is a lot to think about when planning.. a sweethearts table?! I've never heard of such a thing.
Love it! I served bbq buffet style at our reception too!
That food looks so good! I love that you did the buffet style.
we are having a buffet at my wedding too. the food is from a local restaurant. i would much rather have comfort foods than some fancy schmany dinner. we are also getting a sweetheart table too!
Ah I love all your posts about your wedding! It literally is exactly what I want out of mine! :)
And now that I think about it.. I want an In N Out burger truck for our reception!
