Holy November.
October came and went. What a month it was. I guess I can officially say that we are settled down in southwest Florida. We have a bed. We get internet today. I've been working at my new gig for over a month now. It seems like a good fit! Time for some bloggy business:

Nichole at Newlywed Nichole! Now, I have met her in real life {we went to high school and worked at a super cool movie theater together} but I did take a screeshot so you can see this ish is legit. She is just having a lucky day. She does plan a lot of themed parties though so perhaps this is a good fit for her! Congrats Nichole!
Anddddd all that Dove haircare stuff! Which, I still have been using and it's fabulous. Just to remind you, it's the nourishing oil haircare set. Love. Love. Love. Kari was the lucky winner of this!

Halloween came and went. We laid low most of the weekend -- cleaning, unpacking, organizing. We went out Sunday night to see The Rum Diary {we both had read the book}, and it was pretty entertaining. If you hadn't read the book you might be a bit lost in the movie...but maybe not. I enjoyed it. We had dinner at this place called Hemingway's and it was *so* yum. I tried the Shock Top Pumpin and I was surprised that I liked it! I enjoy pumpkin beers but some are TOO pumpkin. Yes, there's a thing as TOO much pumpkin. Anyway, I really liked it and hope that it's still around this month!
Do you have a Publix near you? This past week their special was BOGO Funf wine! It's German Riesling... and sure... it might have a screw off top but it's pretty delish. It tastes better when you can buy 4 bottles and it's not even $19! Obviously my life needs a little more excitement if I'm pumped about cheap booze and blog giveaways. ;)
I will make a separate post for what we did on Halloween. I'm also jumping on this whole "blogging every day in November" bandwagon. That's a pretty easy goal to accomplish -- what do you think?

Woot Woot! Very excited about my serving tray. I seriously never win anything -- thanks! Also, you KNOW I got the wine, too. And actually we had family over for dinner last night and they bought me two more...yay!

I agree! The month went by so fast! I love those earrings that she picked.
I miss being able to go into the grocery store and buy booze.....stupid PA, boo.
