Linking up again with Fun With Phones with Savannah. Half are from my phone -- the other half are from my camera! :)
We started off this week with margaritas as big as our head.

We trimmed the tree and drank wine.

Not as good as I was hoping--but I still drank it!

His prize:

The next day -- I started something I saw on Pinterest... for the 10 Days of Christmas!
Each day, there's a total cheesy printout that gets paired with a matching candy/snack item.
I also raided the Dollar Tree for added goodies.

Day 1. I'm sure he thinks it's lame but he doesn't hate the sweets. :)
And, it feels nice to leave gifts for someone every day!

Day 2. That book is hysterical. The things you can find on the dollar rack.

Saturday & Sunday.
We went to the husband's work party on Friday at the local zoo.

Very cool to have some scenery while you mingled!

Watching the lions eat dinner. Rabbit.
We also hit up a family Christmas party that had beautiful weather and a pretty silly game of White Elephant. I'd like to think we were victors in that...
because we took home some nice stuff!
First up -- check out the view from the park.

White Elephant Gifts lined up. We brought a Foreman Grill and a ceramic birdhouse shaped like an outhouse stuffed with scratch offs. Tacky!

Beautiful sunset

And - this picture just screams FLORIDA at Christmastime:

The husband's brother wearing shorts with a beer in the sand watching a gorgeous sunset.
It was seriously warm this weekend!

Winter cider. I recommend.
What did we score in White Elephant?

Scott got a collection of wintery items--coffee mug, several dish towels, cozy socks, and pot holders. Always a NEED and the colors match our kitchen. :) This was basically a WIN for me.

I went for the makeup and was surprised no one stole from me! A Victoria Jackson Survival Kit -- a travel palette. Very cute. Also - a small size of Elizabeth Arden's Provocative. Suh-weet! I just was complaining about my lack of fragrance options.

What the kit includes. Anyone try or hear of this before?

Andre says MERRY CHRISTMAS.
Actually - he is saying how much he hates me for making him wear antlers.
I'm so ready for this last week at work before the holidays.
I won't have to work much until 2012! Hooray!
PS -- I still think "upsexy" is funny. I tried it on some people last week. Not amused.

Do you have a pepper on your tree? I just learned about this last Christmas. You hide a pepper ornament and whoever finds it gets a prize. I hid it for Scott to find.
I gave him ten seconds -- he found it in like 3.

I like the Cupcake Malbec or Cabernet (If you like red wines) it's pretty delicious :)
Beautiful sunset photos!
<3-Cami from First Day of My Life
Was that a peach margarita? And more importantly, did you drink one for me?
That margarita is calling my name. Seriously. Great sunset pics and pics in general. I've not heard of the "upsexy" thing but it cracked me up! :)
I'm lame and still havent tried the cupcake wine (in my defense I was pregnant) but I always hear people raving about it. The phone link up is a great idea I'm going to join in!
Your Christmas tree is so pretty!! I love the sunset pictures too!
Awesome ideas! And I am loving the cheesy signs with the treats..too funny and such a cute idea! I didn't get to go to a white elephant party this year :( But I am definitely inspired to throw one of my own next year after checking out this list of Tacky White Elephant Gift Ideas!
I don't drink, but anytime I have to go to someone's house and have to bring a wine I always bring Cupcake. Just because it has a cute name lol. xo
Cupcake wine is the best! Way to go with the Victoria Jackson kit!
I need that Margarita! and I love that 10 days of Christmas thingy, boo I wanted to do something like that. =/
Ok, wait...a pepper? I thought it was supposed to be a pickle! http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christmas_pickle
But then again, perhaps some people have a pepper shaped ornament??? Never heard of that before though!
Looks like you're having a really good holiday season so far!
