Target Tuesday: {Missoni DIY}

The last time I participated in Target Tuesday I talked about my Missoni Clearance Rack Scores. There was a canvas tote marked down to $24 and an assortment of plates.

I had seen this floating around blog world for a while --

I knew the Missoni plates would be perfect for it! They were only $2.24 each so... this project I think cost me $12. The candle stick was crystal from Goodwill and somehow deserved an $8 price tag. Oh well. I needed a candlestick and it was seriously the only one they had!

I used Elmer's super strong glue for glass/ceramics/etc. Lots of glue, lots of sitting. It worked out very well! The glue has held and now I have this cute little jewelry/makeup holder in bathroom... and I can say it's Missoni! ;)

I've been putting the jewelry I wore the night before on the top and all my essentials on the bottom. I cleared it off for this photo though!

I love all that you can find on Target's Clearance Racks! My favorite scores? Well, besides the Missoni... Their Dollar Spot section regularly goes on clearance once they get new goodies in. I mean -- a dollar is ALREADY cheap enough... but I've gotten things as low as 30 cents from their dollar section! It just depends when they change out their merchandise. :)
