This is the very last week for the music linkup with Jen and I. I had a lot of fun reading through everyone's posts and learning about some new music. This last week is soundtracks... there are quite a few that I'll never forget listening to! Or...some that I still do jam out to occasionally.

I have to list CLUELESS first. Seriously -- obsessed. And, that soundtrack is still pretty good by today's standards. {1995}
Coolio, Might Might Bosstones, Counting Crows. It was such a fun CD! I put the video up for "Supermodel" by Jill Sobule.
Waiting to Exhale {1995}
Whitney Houston, Mary J. Blige, Brandy, SWV! Oh such fun 90s artists!
So so so good. Again, even by today's standards I think! Such good songs were on this one. I had it on cassette and was mildly obsessed.
On the Line {2001}
I had to. Such cheesy pop goodness on this album! A few *Nsync songs, Joey finally got a SOLO, BBMak, ROBYN! There was a pop mega song with a gazillion artists on it... Vitamin C! I mean, it was amazing. They even threw a remixed Al Green on it.
Dangerous Minds {1995}
Gangster's Paradise. Enough said.
Set It Off {1996}
I apparently really liked r&b and hip hop in the late 90s. Anyway. This was an awesome soundtrack for 90s standards as well...Brandy, Ray-J, En Vogue! Good stuff.
The Preacher's Wife Soundtrack {1996}
Specifically just this one song. I listened to like every DAY when it came out. It's still pretty inspirational. Total cheese, yes.

Other Soundtracks To Note:
- The Wedding Singer -- Parts 1 & 2
- 13 Going on 30
- A Walk to Remember
And, who knew I was a closet Whitney Houston fan? I didn't realize just how much I loved her in the 90s.
Thanks for playing along with us these past few weeks! :)

great list - I wouldn't have thought of a lot of those. I've had no time to prepare for the past 2 weeks of the link up and it makes me sad - I'll see if I can put something together today :(
I totally forgot about t he Clueless soundtrack... that really was a great one!
Gangsta's Paradise was the shiz!
I never got sick of Gangsta's Paradise omg!!!!
Ahh Gangsta's Paradise! Yes. That song is awesome.
Oh my goodness, I thought for sure I'd be the only person to include On the Line! I love that you did too! I don't care what anyone says, that is an awesome soundtrack.
I still love the Clueless Soundtrack. I've got to check out On The Line's too!
Mary J. Blige's 'Not Gon Cry' was my jam....even though I was barely old enough to know the meaning.
And Set It Off....oh brother, love that movie.
OMG I miss En Vogue!!!
