I'm back! After the 10 Day Challenge, I was attending a conference for work in Connecticut. A recap will come of that very interesting trip, but for now, here is what I did this week
Instagram style.
Monday:
Monday is $1 tacos at one of favorite Mexican restaurants. Not only that -- but margaritas are $1.99. A big group of us came to remember a good friend that passed two years ago and to catch up.
Tuesday:

One of my very good friends (you may have seen him on an episode of Bridezillas...LOL) is heading to NYC for a few weeks so we had $1 burgers and $3 beers. I chose a Woodchuck Cider. Bar Louie is a chain restaurant and if you have one near you I totally recommend going! :)
Wednesday:
What is quickly becoming my favorite local happy hour is Wednesdays at Blue Martini. This too is a chain location and it usually is too expensive for me. However, their happy hour prices are amazing and every Wednesday ladies get one free martini and four sushi pieces. Everything else is pretty much half off. It is a very cheap evening and it's a nice stop on my way home!

The Palm BeacherThree Olives Raspberry Vodka, Three Olives Berry Vodka, Cointreau, Lime Juice and Cranberry Juice
Lemon Pepper Chicken with Mediterranean Orzo
The Good Life Martini with Spicy Tuna Rolls Bacardi Grand Melon, Sugar Free Red Bull and a splash of Cranberry Juice
BelliniGrey Goose Vodka, Peach Schnapps, Peach Puree, Chandom Sparkling Wine, and a splash of Orange Juice
Needless to say our tab was not even $20 and everything was delicious. I think this might be an after work staple.
Thursday:

This was a unique treat! Sometimes "liking" a bunch of companies on Facebook can clog up your newsfeed but it is AWESOME when one of them posts about a totally free event in your city that you can attend. MGD64 posted a Beer & Movie night at local theater and a big group of my friends and myself signed up to attend!
Basically, you got two free MGD64s, free appetizers (I chose tomato and mozzarella skewers, mini turkey burgers, and shrimp and chicken skewers!), and a private screening of Friends With Benefits!

We tried both the MGD64 and the MGD64 Lemonade. The MGD64 Lemonade tasted very similar to Leinenkugel's Summer Shandy (which was on tap in every bar in CT that I went to last week!), but it has a fraction of the calories. It's sweet and refreshing. The food was amazing (bonus that it was free!), and the movie was awesome.
Friends With Benefits was totally funny and while it is basically the same story as No Strings Attached, it pulls it off anyway. Loved it!
Tonight: This week just won't end! Tonight is a birthday party for an old friend -- Crystal -- who blogs at
Thrifty & Frugal Living! It will be a blast I'm sure, I just have been so busy lately. :) In a good way -- of course.
This Weekend:I am working both Saturday & Sunday afternoons but hope to catch Loni Love at the Improv with my madre and am helping the lovely
Jennifer move some furniture. We live the glamorous life, obvi.
Next Week:Can I just nap?
