This weekend we are celebrating a friend's wedding down in the Keys! We have managed to go down to the Keys in some way, shape or form since I met my husband.
Key West: Partying for a week on Duval Street
Islamorada: Getting engaged and enjoying everything that the Florida Keys had to offer
Marathon: Rented a house and RELAXED for an entire week. We made a trip back down to Duval to hang out for a night. Sigh. This trip was seriously so nice because I didn't do very much. Read, tanned, hung out in the hot tub and of course... drank.
and, now... another trip to Key West!
Naturally everyone's idea of Key West involves a few alcoholic beverages every now and then...so what will I be doing?
Probably taking in the scenery. You know, this weekend just happens to be Gay Pride Weekend down on Duval...so there will be lots of activities and masses of parties.
And lots of photo opportunities like this one. :)

I have never been to the Keys!!! I want to go because I hear it's fantastic. Soon I hope! Hope you have a blast over there.

I;m pretty sure I would hate and/or kill everyone drinking while I was knocked up. Have a good time!
I am the opposite I have never drank while I was there. But I love going to the pier at sunset. I love eating on the pier behind the Reach (if it's still there) I love to sit and people watch cause there is some great people watching.
You can have all kinda of fun "drinks" and ask them to leave out the alcohol like with a virgin pina colada.
plus think of all the photo opportunities while everyone is acting all wild! ha.

A wedding down there is going to be awesome!! Have a great time :-D That sunset/engagement photo gets me every time-- just STUNNING. Half of me wonders if the week that we were down there was gay pride week too... It was like one huge gay party, which was awesome, hahah! ;-D
I love just laying out by the pool and fishing! Maybe you could go snorkeling too. You can go snorkeling at John Pennycamp for pretty cheap or find a boat tour to take you out! :)
We went to Key West last summer and had the time of our lives! We actually didn't party except for one night ( we generally just sipped drinks, but didn't get wasted) and still had a blast. A few things that we did sans alcohol that you might look into are...
1. Trolly Ride around town (it sounds lame, but it was fun!) You get to see EVERYTHING and hear all sorts of facts and stories and you don't have to move at all, just chill on the trolly
2. The aquarium, we got to pet a shark!
3. The lighthouse... gorgeous view!
4. Bahia National Park (on the drive down if you're driving)
5. Have dinner at the Southernmost cafe, it was good food, good view and reasonable prices
6. Dolphin cruise

I LOVE Key West!!! We went snorkeling, walked around Duval, Bahia Honda State Park, Southernmost Cafe, Louie's Backyard, and I can't remember what else! But it was a blast!! I hope to go back soon!

I'm a total wino and we're going on vacation at the end of the month. To be honest I'm not sure how a pregnant lady is supposed to entertain herself on vacation without wine....

Bahia Honda is a muct. Beautiful beaches! Which is somewhat rare in the keys. Or at least I never saw any. I love Better Than Sex off of Duval. It is a super sexy dessert place. They made some yummy treats! Hog Fish on Stock Island (just before Key West) is by far the best food in the keys. You have to drive through the trailor park to get there but it is to die for. I love hogfish and you rarely see it on a menu because it cannot be line caught. Have fun!
I've never been down to Key West but it looks amazing! My fiance has family in Key Largo and I'm hoping to get down that way sometime soon!
I've never been, but have always wanted to! You'll have some awesome people watching with Pride going on! :)
