Sayonara Cable! {how netflix kept me sane over maternity leave}

We haven't had cable in a long time. I don't miss it (Okay, I am missing the latest episodes of Jersey Shore), and in fact, I enjoy more television and movies NOW that we don't have all those channels. Maybe it's the fact that I can watch groups of episodes at once instead of having to wait for the latest one...or it's just exposed me to SO many shows that I was missing even when I had those channels.

I went through a period a few months ago where I felt like Netflix was on the outs. They had no new movies, nothing relvent or good, and then...all of a sudden... I don't know. I just started watching SO many new things and I loved it all.

Downton Abbey -- I honestly thought I would hate this. How wrong was I! I finally gave it a chance at 3am while feeding Cannon and was totally sucked in. I love their fancy dresses!

Rules of Engagement -- I used to watch this when it was new on TV but kind of forgot about it. I flew through the 5 seasons that Netflix has available. It's cheesy and I have no idea who thinks David Spade is entertaining ... but I love Patrick Warburton!

How I Met Your Mother

Spaced -- A weird and quirky British comedy. I thought it was good! It has Simon Pegg from Shaun of the Dead!

Wilfred -- Another weird comedy but I really liked it. A crazy suicidal guy who thinks his neighbor's dog is human.

Once Upon a Time

Burn Notice

Louie -- Dry humor but I love it so much I'm going to re-watch all the episodes!

Now -- tell me what you're streaming on Netflix! 

What am I missing that I should give a chance?
