Happy Sunday! If you are dreading the upcoming work week, take a break to enjoy a Sunday sunset. I love the late sunsets of summer (though days are getting shorter with the upcoming fall season), and I love them even more with a cold glass of white wine. I'm not much of a red wine drinker, though I do experiment. I just prefer the fruity flavors of white wine.
Sequin recently sent me a Pinot Grigio and a Rosé to review, and I happily accepted the challenge. I love trying new wines--especially ones that are reasonably priced. The packaging was noteworthy, so I included it here. Their tagline, "Add a little sparkle to your day," is a slogan that I should incorporate into my daily life. ;) Sparkles? Sign me up.
The serving suggestions look delicious. I would be interested in trying these in a sangria.
I know some people who buy wine based on the look of the bottle alone, and Sequin's packaging didn't disappoint. The colors are eyecatching, and the design is fun.
The price point is $11.99 which is fair for a bottle of wine of this caliber. I enjoyed seeing the food pairing suggestions, and I was most interested in trying the Rosé first.
We popped open the Rosé last weekend, and I thought it was a great complement to our Sunday night. It was fruity, definitely sweet (I like that!), and went down smooth. I loved the hint of bubbles and the very light taste.
The Pinot Grigio is ready for me tonight. What do you do to relax before the work week begins?
